BORCKA- Hamamli –KARAGOL : They are  charming little towns loacted  in Virgin Forests. It is always Green . Borçka located  on bank of Coruh River.There  are Georgian churches among the beautiful green  land  in hamamli.

 Rize – Ayder- Trabzon  (Sumela Monastery )

 Ayder :  This is a high Plateau located in Mountain. It is covered  with forests. There are  beautiful small wood houses on the hillsides , there are little lakes and little waterfalls in the mountain. The walk in Kavron is easy and relaxing…

 Rize :  It is the city which produces tea leaves in Turkey.  There is not really  very important thinhs to mention. Since it is on the way we pass through it and visit one of the factory. There is a little botanic garden  and they produces rize textile hand made textile…

Deli bal  (crazy Honey ) was famous here. It is very stonrang honey. The flore here is very rich. So the honey was very strong and a person can not eat more than a spoon.  Xhenephon  the greek traveler mentioned abou this honey. He says when his soldiers ate from the wild  bee hives honey they fainted and they got sick. So he put this honey on the way of his enemy (The persian) .The persians ate the honey and they fainted  therefore xhenephon’s soldiers attacked to them and killed them. It is the first biological  wepon J

 Sumela Monastery :  is located  on the slope of a deep and big valley, Altindere Valley. 30 minutes  walk is required to go up to the monastery. Since it is located in so hşgh place among the forest it is called the monestry of the clouds.  It was established by two  monks from Athens Brnabas and  Sophranius  around 386 AD.  They saw a dream. In their dream  virgin mary wanted them  to establish a monastery  in her name in Pontus (name of this region before). It is belived that an icon guided them and they found the place to  establish the monastery. There are  rooms in this complex located on the edge of a cliff in the deep valley. There are churches painted with frescoe a small aquaduct to birng water to the Monastery a stable, a holy spring,

 UZUNGOL :  It is  a lake  located in mountain.  Indeed  a large land slided and blocked the river and this artifical lake was formed.  There are littile lakes around it a little far from this lake. They are called the seven lakes. We have to hire a litlle jeep to  drive up to these lakes…

 Hagia Sophia  : There was a temple dedicated to Apollon here in 2nd C AD. In 12 th C AD  Manuel Comnenos re-established this church  in 12 th C. It was a basilical shape and turned to Cross shape.. There are paintings inside it on the walls… It  is located on a levelled hill viewing the sea…
