Itinerary

Day 1 :  North Cappadocia tour

Departure from Uchisar Premium  hotel around 0930 am

* The Pigeon Valley - The valley which is housing thousands of Dovecotes which was dug out into the cliff of the valley by the farmers of Cappaocia to collect the guano and fertilize the farms in the past. 

* Uchisar Cave Houses and Pigeon Houses - We see the cave houses and pigeon houses of Old uchisar .

*Esentepe Panoramic Point : Viewing Goreme NAtional park from this high point

* Goreme Open Air Musuem - The rock-cut churches & monasteries with best frescoes(wall paintings ) .Designed mostly between 9 th and 13 th C.

* Avanos - Historic Pottery Town of Cappadocia. Avanos  was established by the Hitites in 19 C BC on bank of Red River and since then inhabitants of Avanos have been producing pottery and tiles.. 

*Cavusin Cave Village – A Photo stop to view cave dwellings.

*Love Valley – Photo stop to view pillar  like rock formations

Day 2 : Kaymaklı Undergroundcity & North Cappadocia Tour

Departure from Hotel at 0930 am

* Kaymakli Underground city  - The biggest underground settlement in the world which was used as a shelter by Christians of Cappadocia especially in 7th and 8th C AD. We decend all the way till 4  th floor which is 25  meters deep and see many tunnels, food storages, kitchen , stable , ventilantion shaft, church , living rooms, missionery school and baptistery.

* Pashabagi  fairy-chimneys Valley known as Monks Valley as well.There is a forest of stone mushrooms with two or sometimes 3 caps.These formations are called fairy-chimneys by locals.We walk among the fairy-chimneys and see some of the small monks caves where the monks lived in middle age. 

*Zelve Open Air Musuem : A cave settlement which was inhabited from 5 th Century till 20 th Century .We see the cave monastery , cave hosues , mosque etc..

* Dervent valley – also called as Pink or Imagination valley with Its famous pink rock formations.The most famous rock formation of Dervent is the seating stone camel. 

* Urgup fairy-chimneys - They are the symbol of Cappadocia with their caps. They are called the 3 sisters by the locals  as well .

*Rose Valley – in the end of the day the  color of the valley turns to pink even red

 *Onyx and Turqoise Stone work shop and shopping opportunity

And back to hotel around 1730 pm
